Step: 1
You Will Need The Following Tools:
T5 Tory Driver
Shim Tool
A Soldering Iron

Step: 2
Flip over your Tungsten-E unit and remove the 4 screws
using the T5 Torx Driver located in the red circles of
the picture. |

Step: 3
Now you will need to release the tabs with your shim
tool, this may take a little time. |

Step: 4
Keep light opening pressure with your fingers on the
area once you have released a tab. (try and keep the
frame from relocking back into the tabs again). |

Step: 5
continue doing the same on the next tab and so forth. |

Step: 6
until the frame of the Tungsten E unit finally opens. |

Step: 7
This picture shows the unit open with the battery
exposed - but still soldered to the unit. |

Step: 8
You will need to remove the battery from the motherboard
of the Tungsten E - it is attached by double sided tape
and may require some pressure to remove. |

Step: 9
Now you will have to do some soldering (2 wires) to
release the old battery and replace the new battery.
Snap on the cover and put back the single screw.
Your new battery will need a minimum of three hours of
charging before first use. |
